Word on the net has it, that Carnival is pulling its ships out of NYC, and sending them to Ft. Lauderdale. Fuel costs appear to be their reason.

I would think that they would just raise prices instead of taking the drastic move of relocation.

You would think. Some of us are thinking its a move to shake local or state government out of taxes or cash to stay. I doubt it though. Carnival hasn't generally shown itself to be civically minded.
